Scott Edwards

Education & Training Advisor

Scott has played a key leadership role in Australia’s psychedelic sector since 2021. As Executive Officer of Mind Medicine Australia (MMA), he worked across strategy and execution in the advocacy initiative that led to Australia’s world-first rescheduling of MDMA and psilocybin in 2023. He subsequently developed the curriculum for MMA’s Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies, delivering the program to over 400 therapists and clinicians between 2023 and 2025.

As the sector continues to evolve, Scott has expanded his focus toward supporting a broader paradigm shift in healthcare — a move toward a truly holistic model of care. In this model, healing integrates a modern, experiential and evidence-based understanding of spirituality, recognises the central role of community in human wellbeing, and restores an integrated view of mind and body within contemporary practice.

He is pursuing this vision through a portfolio of synergistic initiatives. He is co-founder of Breath Medicine, an approach to breathwork centred on relational safety and expanded states of consciousness; an advisor to End Wise, a charity advocating for access to psilocybin-assisted therapy for those approaching end of life; and he leads operations and clinical program development at the Mind Medicine Australia Clinic.
